Anderson’s Bay Tennis Club

Anderson’s Bay Tennis Club, located next to Bayfield High School at the Anderson’s Bay Inlet.

In 1906 Anderson’s Bay Lawn Tennis Club was incorporated. In 1995 the club started sharing its club rooms with Ariki Harriers and Athletics. A proposal to build a joint facility on the Marne street site was explored. At the time an option to build at Bayfield High school site was explored and it provided the school, Ariki and the tennis club an option whereby it could get year round use and also be a real asset to the community. It was completed in 1998 and was named the Guthrie Pavilion to acknowledge the contribution of the Guthrie family to the Pavilion, to Otago tennis and to the Anderson’s Bay community.

Anderson’s Bay is committed to supporting the growth and development of Junior and Senior players in Dunedin providing opportunities for all club members.
